Christian "Chris" Renstrom came to The Worx Group in January 2007 with a long history of professional success in the fields of sales/marketing, event production/management, public/media relations and publishing. He has played a pivotal role in the firm's heightened concentration on major accounts in the Connecticut market and overall expertise.
Prior to joining The Worx Group, Renstrom served as Vice President and General Manager of Marketing Resource Consultants, Inc., based in Hartford. While at MRC, he managed all aspects of the company's business, including sales, marketing, publishing and event production/management. He oversaw the successful start-up of each of the company's publications, including Hartford Magazine, Home Living Connecticut and Connecticut Business Magazine, and annual events including Best of Hartford, Sun WineFest and the Home Living Connecticut Home Show.
Renstrom spent nearly a decade in the wireless communications industry in sales/marketing management roles for both Verizon Wireless and Cingular Wireless.

Chris was instrumental in executing the successful name/brand launches for both companies in the Connecticut market, and also played an integral role in their successful sales/retention efforts during his respective tenures.

Renstrom also executed successful annual corporate sponsorship programs for both companies with major sports/entertainment venues and organizations throughout Connecticut, such as the Hartford Civic Center, Bushnell Center for the performing Arts, Shubert Theater, Oakdale Theatre, Meadows Music Center, Arena at Harbor Yard, Mohegan Sun Arena, University of Connecticut Athletics and the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference.
Chris is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT, where he majored in Communications. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Connecticut, the Eastern Connecticut State University Foundation and the Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame. Renstrom resides in West Hartford with his wife Veronica, and their daughters, Jacqueline, 7 and Victoria, 4.
